Appeal for information after a woman was struck by a cyclist and racially abused

Officers investigating an assault are appealing for further information to help them with their enquiries.

On Tuesday, June 5 at 7.05am a woman was crossing Sinfin Lane at the traffic lights. The One Stop shop and Wordsworth Avenue were on the opposite side of the road.

As she had nearly reached the kerb on the opposite side she was struck by a cyclist who pushed her to the ground. He then blamed her for the collision and racially abused her.
