Images released following knife point robbery

Posted on 29th June 2018

We’ve released images of a number of men we would like to speak to in connection with a knife point robbery, which happened on Tuesday, 19 June.

The incident happened just before 2pm, when a 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were threatened by a group of men whilst sat on a bench in Sherwood Recreation Ground, near Portland Street, Derby. One of the men was carrying a knife.

One of the men from the group stole a bag of shopping from the victims and ran away, whilst the other two men continued to threaten them.

The 29-year-old man then chased the group into Osmaston Park Road and was punched in the face, causing him to fall to ground just outside the Access Self Storage unit.

The men in the group are all described as white.

Anyone with information about this incident, or who recognises the men pictured, should call PC Patricia Sidall-Hart on 101 quoting reference number 18000283547.
