Five men, one woman and a teenaged boy have been charged following a number of warrants carried out at addresses in Derby.
Jordan Bloor, 18, of Upper Dale Road, Derby, Simeon Jones, 32, of Bracken Close, Nottingham and Peter Clinton, 31, of Porter Road, Derby have been charged with conspiring to supply a class B controlled drug.
Clinton has been further charged with supplying a controlled drug of Class A, while Bloor was further charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Barrington Azille, 35, of Rimsdale Close, Derby, charged with four counts of supplying a class B controlled drug.
Bernadette Newbold, 29, of Berwick Avenue, charged with three counts of supplying a class B controlled drug.
Jamie Birks, 30, of Mount Street, Derby has been charged with three alleged offences relating to the supply of Class B controlled drugs.
A 16-year-old boy from Derby, has been charged with four counts of supplying a class B controlled drug.
The charges came after the start of a police operation targeting the alleged production and supply of Mamba and Spice in the city.
All seven are due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court this morning.
