Appeal for witnesses who may have seen silver Chrysler

We’re appealing for information about a car which is believed to be connected to a burglary at Poundstretcher in Glossop.

The burglary happened between 9pm on Thursday, March 15 and 7.30am this morning (Friday, March 16).

During the burglary a quantity of cash was stolen from the shop in High Street West.

A silver Chrysler Voyager was in the area at the time and was seen to drive in the direction of Simmondley Lane.

Later the car was found abandoned at the junction of Simmondley Lane and Beech Avenue.

DC Danielle Podam, said: “We’d like to hear from members of the public who may have noticed the Chrysler and/or have dash cam or CCTV footage covering the area concerned.

“It is important that we identify the driver of this car as we believe they may be able to assist us with our enquiries into the incident last night.
