Witnesses sought following a collision where a pedestrian suffered serious injuries

Officers investigating a serious road traffic collision in Derby are appealing to the public for information.

On Saturday, March 10 at around 3.10pm a car struck a pedestrian on Sinfin Lane at the junction with the Forresters Business Park.

The car failed to stop and sped off towards Normanton. The car is thought to be a silver Toyota Yaris.

The pedestrian, a man, was taken to Queens Medical Centre with serious, but not life threatening, injuries.
