Officers seek man in connection with serious assault in Glossop

We’re releasing a picture of a man we would like to speak to about a serious assault in Glossop.

While we have previously issued two appeals about this crime, and arrested a man, we are still investigating and would like to trace the man pictured.

The 40-year-old victim was left with serious facial injuries after being punched outside a takeaway in Norfolk Street.

The incident occurred at around 2.45am on Sunday, December 17, when the victim intervened in a fight in which two to three other people were involved.

He was left with a fractured eye socket and cuts to his face.

A 27-year-old Hadfield man has been arrested and released under investigation while inquiries continue.
