Appeal to trace witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist died

Posted on 8th May 2018

We’re appealing for witnesses who may be able to help us find out what happened to a cyclist, who was found seriously injured and later died.

At around 2.45pm on Monday, April 30, a man came off his bicycle as he rode down Warwick Avenue, Derby, near to the junction with Arlington Road.

The 63-year-old was taken to hospital but later died. We understand that several people stopped to talk to paramedics and we would like to hear from them.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call DC Lauren Siddall on 101, quoting reference 18000200606.

Alternatively, send her a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website.

You can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
