Appeal after armed robbery at filling station

Posted on 11th October 2018

Our detectives are appealing for information following a late-night robbery at a filling station in Breaston.

A man carrying a hammer went into the Jet garage in Wilsthorpe Road at about 10pm last night and demanded cash.

He forced the till and took a small amount of money, as well as a number of packets of cigarettes from behind the counter.

The offender then fled on foot in the direction of Long Eaton.

He was described as white, and was wearing black trousers and a black puffer-style jacket.

Did you see anyone matching that description in the area around that time? Do you live nearby and have CCTV that may have captured him?

Do you have a dashcam device in your car and could you have recorded the man around the time of the offence?
