Man dies following A6 collision

A 22-year-old motorcyclist has sadly died following a collision between a motorbike and a lorry on the A6, Alvaston Bypass yesterday afternoon at around 12.30pm (Thursday, October 11).

The man was flown by Air Ambulance to the Queen’s Medical Centre following the incident and later passed away in hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or with dash cam footage is urged to get in touch.
