Appeal for information following Allestree burglary

Officers investigating a burglary in Allestree are asking the public for help in identifying two people who may be able to help with their enquiries.

The burglary happened on Burley Hill, on Thursday, October 18 between 10am and 3pm. A quantity of jewellery was reported to have been taken, as well as an Apple MacBook Pro.

The missing jewellery included several items from Tiffany, including a necklace, bracelets, ear-rings and a platinum wedding band and engagement ring.

Links of London and Pandora jewellery were also reported missing, as well as two divers’ style watches.

We would like to speak to two men who were seen in the area at around 2pm. Both men are in their early to mid-20s, and around 5ft 6ins tall.

One of the men is described as being white, slim build, with short dark hair and was wearing an orange work bib and dark coloured trousers.

The other man is described as being slightly broader and was wearing a mid-blue jumper with the word “Extra” written on the back in white lettering.
