Appeal for witnesses following bike theft in Chesterfield

Police are appealing for witnesses after wheels and parts were stolen from a bicycle in Chesterfield.

The bike, a green Kona Lava Dome, had been secured to the railings outside West Bars News, on Monday, August 27.

Between 2pm and 10pm, the front wheel was taken and the lock damaged.

Overnight, further parts were taken, including the rear wheel.

We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, who might have noticed anything suspicious.
