Posted on 7th September 2018

Three people have been charged in relation to an alleged plot to traffic cocaine and heroin into Derbyshire.

The three men are accused of conspiring to supply Class A drugs between October 2017 and January 2018.

Owen Fraser Manahan, aged 35 and of Buxton Road in Derby, Hafiz Sule, aged 33 and of James Close in Derby, and Troy Shannon Colbert, aged 31 and of Parker Street in Derby, were arrested during warrants in the city on Tuesday (4 September 2018).

Mr Manahan is also accused of possession with intent to supply cannabis.

It follows the seizure of a quantity of Class A and B drugs, as well as a cash, during an investigation by the East Midlands Special Operations Unit.

The men appeared before Derby magistrates on Thursday 6 September 2018 where they were remanded in custody.

A 30-year-old woman also arrested in connection with the inquiry has been released under investigation.
