Chaddesden house fire being investigated as arson

Officers are appealing for witnesses to a house fire in Chaddesden which is believed to have been started deliberately.

Police and the Fire Service were called to the property at the north end of Cowsley Road on Sunday, September 9, just after 10am.

The blaze caused damage to the front room of the unoccupied semi-detached house. Fortunately, nobody was injured.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Cowsley Road area between 8am and 10am.
