Appeal for information after air gun incidents in Alvaston

Police are appealing for witnesses after two people were hit by pellets from an air gun in Alvaston, Derby.

The incidents happened between 1.50pm and 2.20pm on Wednesday, September 12, near St. Peter’s Court, London Road.

A 78-year-old woman was targeted as she walked along the pavement, with a pellet hitting her left hip. Whilst officers were helping her, a 55-year-old woman who was crossing London Road was hit in the leg.

No further incidents were reported and police investigations are continuing.
