Four charged with drugs offences after warrant at city house

Four men have been charged with a range of drugs-related offences after our officers carried out a warrant at an address in Derby.

The action took place at a house in Ashbourne Road at about 10am on Tuesday and saw a large amount of suspected drugs seized.

Cash and suspected drug production paraphernalia was also recovered from the address.

During the warrant, four men from Derby were arrested. They have now been charged and remanded into prison custody.

Michael Miller, 38, of Abbey Street, was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, and producing the class B controlled drug synthetic cannabinoids.

George Burgess, 20, of Ludgate Walk, was charged with the same offences.

Gary Spalding, 48, of Ashbourne Road, was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, and producing synthetic cannabinoids.

Bradley Wood, 22, of Leytonstone Drive, was charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply, possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply, possession of cannabis and being concerned in the supply of cannabis. He was also charged with producing synthetic cannabinoids.
