ACT Now!|
ACT Now (All Communities Together) is a classroom exercise hosted by Derbyshire Constabulary that allows community groups to play the role of Counter Terrorist police officers. During the interactive exercise participants make carefully thought-out group decisions based on information feeds about a developing terrorist incident.

Cricket Coaching Sessions|
The coaching sessions offer a structured cricket programme within schools and youth services, working alongside the Community Safety Partnership and Derbyshire Cricket Board. The sessions give young people the opportunity to become involved in an established cricket club.

Ozbox|
Ozbox is aimed at males and females up to the age of 19, allowing them to become involved in a gym environment that is based on boxing traditions with emphasis on non-contact training.

Calligraphy Workshop|
PCSO Dan Alizad runs an art workshop in a number of community centres with the aim of promoting cultural values and understanding amongst a wider audience.

Staying Safe|
This project was an innovative animation workshop in partnership with the Derby Quad theatre group, which included the creation of a set of open-ended scenarios. This work allows young people of Year Five and Year Six age to discuss issues such as equality, difference and prejudice.

The Community Engagement Team takes part in numerous residential courses designed to help young people in our communities to experience new and exciting activities in a safe environment. This work is aimed at challenging negative behaviour and criminal gang culture through a series of workshops.
