Sock it to the Scammers

#SockItToTheScammers is our new fraud campaign, created to raise awareness of commonly reported fraud in Derbyshire and how to stop them.

You can watch all of our Sock it to the Scammers videos on our Youtube channel.

The key message is Stop! Think Fraud. If you suspect a scam, or something just doesn't feel right, take a moment to consider before doing anything else. 

Tell someone you trust and discuss your concerns if you're still not sure. If you think you've been the victim of a scam report it.

Our aim is to get the videos seen by as many people as possible. This not only protects them to the tactics of fraudsters, but also means that they can share the crime prevention tips and advice with family, friends and neighbours too.
