This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Sawley. It belongs to the Long Eaton policing section.
 
Sawley is a suburb of the town of Long Eaton, which lies between the two cities of Derby and Nottingham. The Sawley Safer Neighbourhood area is split into two halves, Old Sawley which is the old village area and new Sawley, which is mainly made up of a modern residential area called the Dales Estate.
 
The area also cover a huge industrial estate which is known as Acton Road and Trent Lock which is the joining point for several canals and rivers.

Your current priorities for this neighbourhood

  1. Anti-social behaviour and damage on Manchester Street.
    This issue was set on 02 June 2010
     
    Actions to be taken are as follows:
     
    • Patrols will be increased in the local area.
    • Letters will be sent to the parents of those causing a problem and further action will be taken as necessary.
    • All alcohol will be confiscated.

     
  2. Anti-social behaviour around the Baptist Church on Wilne Road.
    This issue was set on 02 June 2010
     
    Actions to be taken are as follows:
     
    • Patrols will be increased in the local area.
    • Letters will be sent to the parents of those causing a problem and further action will be taken as necessary.
    • All alcohol will be confiscated.

     
  3. Anti-social behaviour around the gymnastics club on Oakleys Road.
    This issue was set on 02 June 2010
     
    Actions to be taken are as follows:
     
    • Patrols will be increased in the local area.
    • Letters will be sent to the parents of those causing a problem and further action will be taken as necessary.
    • All alcohol will be confiscated.
