Find your local crime figures

Crime Mapping allows us to show you where crime is happening at a local level, so we can better engage with our communities and help them determine how best to police the area they live in.

Using a simple, user-friendly interface and highly-detailed Ordnance Survey maps, it allows you to enter your postcode or area name and from this find out the latest crime statistics for your Safer Neighbourhood area - in both number of crimes per 1,000 population and actual crime numbers - and how this level compares to the previous year.

Updated on a monthly basis, the crime statistics show the total numbers of crimes, and can then be broken down further into categories such as burglary, robbery, vehicle crime, violence and anti-social behaviour.

As of October 2009, you can now also view crime information for all forces in England and Wales on this website, and compare our figures with other forces.

You can also stay up-to-date by subscribing to an RSS feed, so you can be notified when the latest information is ready for viewing.
