    • Increased police patrols in the area.
    • Work with the residents to help them set up a Neighbourhood Watch and Community Watch Scheme.
    • Work with partner agencies to help improve lighting on the estate and tackle parking issues.

  2. Rural (south) - Anti-social and inappropriate behaviour in rural car parks.
This issue was set on 04 January 2010

Actions to be taken are as follows:

    • Increased patrols in the area at the relevant times to deter the behaviour.
    • Work with other parts of the force on Operation Cork to try to eradicate the problem here and in other areas of the county.

  3. Rural (south) - Anti-social behaviour around Holymoorside Parish Rooms.
This issue was set on 04 January 2010

Actions to be taken are as follows:

    • Safer Neighbourhood officers to conduct high visibility patrols at the relevant times, mainly evenings and weekends.
    • CCTV and better lighting to be fitted at the hall with the help of the parish council.
    • Increase communication with the local residents to make them aware of the problem and gather intelligence.

These priorities were agreed with your team at your last Safer Neighbourhoods meeting. These meetings are open to everybody and allow you to affect what you feel needs addressing in your area.
