Mobile Police Station: Amber Valley & Erewash

Close up of Mobile Police Station

If you are based in a rural location within the Amber Valley & Erewash area, you may find it difficult or inconvenient to visit one of our police enquiry offices. This is why we introduced the mobile police stations. They allow us to visit you!

More About Our Station

The objectives of the Mobile Police Station (MPS) are:

  • To provide a mobile enquiry office/advice centre - particularly to those rural communities without easy access to a local police office.

  • To provide a joint base from which all members of the community safety partnerships can operate from for mutually beneficial promotions.

  • To offer reassurance and crime prevention advice to communities.

  • To promote community safety initiatives, including Neighbourhood Watch Schemes.

  • To promote the concept of citizen focused policing by engaging with the general public to develop a service that will reflect your needs.
