Safer Neighbourhoods officers in Dronfield are doing their bit for charity by donating unwanted items to the local hospice shop.
PC James Mirfin and PCSO Glyn Lewis handed over toys and games to the new Ashgate Hospice shop at The Forge, Dronfield, and are encouraging others to do the same.
The team regularly works with the hospice on community projects and fund raising events.
In September last year they took a group of local teens to help out in the hospice's gardens; an initiative they plan to carry out again this spring.
PCSO Lewis said: "The partnership between us and the hospice is a great way for both the Dronfield Safer Neighbourhood Team and young people from the area to contribute to a local charitable organisation.
"We continue to support the hospice and would like to raise people's awareness of the new shop and encourage local people to donate items. Many people will still have unwanted Christmas presents lying around, why not give them to a worthy cause."
