Police surgery for New Zealand and Morley Estate neighbourhood
The Mackworth and Morley Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team are holding a regular police surgery for local residents of the neighbourhood.
The first meeting will be held on Tuesday 16th February at the Lonny Wilson Croft Centre, Stepping Lane, 10.00am- 12.00pm.
The surgery will fall on a Tuesday every other month, the venue and time will remain the same for the following dates.
27th April
22nd June
5th August
19th October
9th December
Police surgeries offer members of the public an opportunity to call in and speak to their local police team.
The surgery will be attended by local officers and give residents a chance to meet their neighbourhood policing team, ask questions about local issues or raise any specific concerns.
PCSO Ibrar Rafique of the Mackworth and Morley Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "We hope that local residents from the community will come down and see us at the surgery.
"If the local community want to stop by for a chat that's fine, if they have more pressing concerns that are causing worry then by sharing that with us we are better placed to target the issues that matter most in the locality."
You can also contact your local Safer Neighbourhood team by calling 0345 123 33 33, emailing north.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk or logging on to www.derbyshire.police.uk for more information.
