Chesterfield shoppers can raise community issues over a cuppa

Shoppers in Chesterfield will be able to meet their local police officers while having a cuppa at a drop-in surgery at Costa Coffee, Vicar Lane, on Friday, November 27th.

Members of Chesterfield Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team will be available from 10.30am to 2.30pm offering crime prevention advice and listening to any concerns people in the area may have.

PC Stephen O'Callaghan will be running the drop-in; he takes over from PC Ian Biggin who has left the Town Centre team.

PC O'Callaghan said: "We have been running these sessions for a while now and it is good to have them in a relaxed atmosphere so people can just call in while going about their day.

"I look forward to meeting members of the public and finding out what issues they would like us to be targeting."

To contact the team call 0345 123 33 33 or email chesterfield.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk.
