Community event set for Smalley, Mapperley and Shipley residents

Officers from the Smalley, Mapperley and Shipley Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to invite local residents to a community event.
 
The event will be held on Monday, 15th February at the Orchard Community Centre, 2 - 4pm.
 
There will be free food and drink served during the afternoon, as well as free bingo and lots of fun activities for both older and younger people.
 
Representatives from Amber Valley Housing and Derbyshire Constabulary will also be available to offer advice and answer questions about the local community.
 
PC Anna Welberry said: "This will be a great event for local residents to get together and to find out more about their community, as well as enjoying some nice food and having fun.
 
"We would like to encourage local people to come down to see us on Monday, 15th February; it promises to be an enjoyable afternoon with something available for every age group."
 
The community event has been funded by Amber Valley Housing.
