Appeal for information about Sandiacre Post Office robbery

Police are appealing for information about a robbery at a Sandiacre Post Office.

A man entered the Post Office in Derby Road at about 3.20pm today (Thursday, February 25).

He had a knife and threatened a female member of staff but left without taking anything once staff activated an alarm. The woman was left shaken but uninjured.

It is believed the man left the scene in a small, dark car. The robber was mixed race and wore a black hooded top with the hood up and a black scarf around his face.

Police officers and dog units searched the area but did not find the man.
