Residents in and around the Hathersage area are being given the opportunity to raise any concerns or issues they have with their local Safer Neighbourhood team.

The team, which also covers Grindleford, Calver, Curbar and Froggatt among others, are holding the meeting for local people, partner organisations and community representatives to discuss and decide on policing priorities for the area.

It will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, March 10 at Hathersage Methodist Church, Main Road, Hathersage.

PC Ian Richardson of the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "We hold these meetings every three months to bring together the community and organisations involved in helping to keep the area a safe and pleasant place to live.

"We would like to see as many people at the meeting as possible, but if you're unable to make it and have an issue you would like to raise please get in touch."

To contact the team call 0345 123 33 33 or email bakewell.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk.
