Easter activities organised for Langley Mill kids

The Langley Mill Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team has organised a series of fun activities to help keep local children entertained during the Easter holiday.

Neighbourhood officers will be running two activity sessions during the school break, the first on Wednesday, 7th April and the second on Wednesday, 14th April.

Both will be from 10am to 3pm and take place at Langley Mill Junior School on Bailey Brook Crescent, Langley Mill.

PCSO Jennifer Lorimer said: "The Easter activities will be run on a similar basis to the Summer Fun Club we organised last year, offering a variety of free activities for children and teenagers aged from seven to 15 in the Langley Mill area.

"We will be offering football, kwik cricket, rounders, basketball and a variety of other sports and games. There will also be arts and crafts classes, T-shirt design and much more.

"A free lunch will be provided at each of the sessions and free drinks will be available throughout the day.

"If you would be interested in finding out more about the Easter activities, please contact us by calling 0345 123 33 33 or emailing ripley.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk."

Funding for the Easter activities has kindly been provided by the NHS.
