Residents in the Osmaston area of Derby have the chance to speak to their local Safer Neighbourhood officers at a twice weekly police surgery.

Local police officers along with staff from the housing association will be available every Monday and Wednesday between 10.00 - 12.00pm at Addison Road Housing Office.

These surgeries allow people to meet their local officers, ask questions about neighbourhood policing and share any concerns they may have. No appointment is necessary.

Sgt Kate Bateman who manages the Osmaston Safer Neighbourhood team said: "Each neighbourhood has its own allocated team of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers and Specials.

"At these surgeries you can meet members of your Safer Neighbourhood team, raise any concerns you might have in your local area or just stop by for a chat.

"We welcome people's thoughts on local policing and it means we can target the issues that cause them most concern."

To contact your local team please call 0345 123 33 33 or email east.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk or visit www.derbyshire.police.uk
