About Derbyshire Constabulary

Derbyshire Constabulary is committed to reducing and investigating crime, protecting people and promoting law and order across the county of Derbyshire. We work in partnership with local agencies across the county to help achieve our goals.

We serve a region of over 1,000 square miles, with a population approaching 1 million. Derbyshire is renowned for being hugely diverse. It encompasses the rural areas of the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales, for example, as well as old mining communities, modern towns and business centres. It is also home to the vibrant and culturally diverse city of Derby.
