Officers investigating an incident in which a man was stabbed in the leg are appealing for witnesses to come forward and help with their enquiries.
The force was called to reports that a man had been injured in Elizabeth Avenue, Fairfield, Buxton, at around 12.40pm yesterday (30 Nov).
A 20-year-old man was found with serious injuries after he was assaulted in the street. He was taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, in particular anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV that captured the incident.
