Officers investigating a fight in Whaley Bridge are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance in Buxton Road, Whaley Bridge, at around 10pm on Saturday 4 July.
Witnesses reported that two groups of men, one group being from the town and the other being from Stockport, were fighting in the street. A 17-year-old teenage boy, from Stockport, required hospital treatment after being struck in the face.
There have been no arrests in relation to the incident.
A number of vehicles stopped at the scene and officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident – especially any drivers with dashcam footage of the scene.
