A pedestrian has died following a collision in Chesterfield yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 6 April).
The incident, involving a car which did not stop, happened around 4.30pm on Malvern Road at Brockwell.
A man, aged in his 30s, suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.
Officers located the vehicle believed to be involved with the incident following inquiries, and have arrested a woman on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Malvern Road was closed while emergency services dealt with the scene, but it has since re-opened.
We would still like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or with any dashcam footage from the area around that time.
