We are appealing for witnesses following a collision last night on the A38 near Coxbench, in which a woman sadly died.
The incident was reported to us just before 6.40 pm yesterday (Tuesday 9 February) and involved a lorry and a car.
The A38 was closed while emergency services attended the scene.
Sadly, a woman aged in her 20s died at the scene and our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.
Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage which could help with their inquiries.
