Witnesses sought after woman assaulted in Gamesley

Officers investigating the assault of a woman in Gamesley are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.

The 42-year-old victim was seriously assaulted by a group in Whitwell Fold between 5.30pm and 6pm on Monday 26 April.

It is believed that a number of people witnessed the assault and officers are appealing for anyone who may be able to help identify any of those involved.
