Appeal for witnesses and video after armed robbery at shop in New Mills

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video after an armed robbery at a shop in New Mills.

The incident happened at the Local 4 You shop in Albion Road at around 4.50pm yesterday afternoon (17 November).

Staff were threatened by two men armed with a crowbar and a knife who demanded cash. They left with cash and cigarettes.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the two men – as well as anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage that may have captured them entering or leaving the store.
