Officers investigating the assault of a teenager in Derby are appealing for two witnesses to come forward to help with their enquiries.
The incident, which involved a girl in her late teens, took place in St Peter’s Street, close to the Costa coffee shop, between 10.35pm and 10.45pm on Friday 8 April and saw her allegedly assaulted by a man.
A man and a woman approached the girl following the incident to check if she was OK – the woman was described as being in her 20s, with long blonde hair and was holding a flower.
Officers want to speak to the man and woman as witnesses to the incident.
