Emergency services dealing with serious collision in Whittington Moor

Emergency services are continuing to deal with a serious road traffic collision at Whittington Moor in Chesterfield this evening (Friday 5 August).

We were called just before 8.30pm to reports a car had crashed into a building on Sheffield Road, opposite The Technique Stadium.

Five people are being treated for injuries, including the driver of the vehicle.

Six people are being treated for injuries, including the driver of the vehicle.

The collision is being investigated and we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area or with dashcam footage from around that time which could help with our enquiries.
