Man dies after collision near Buxton

A man has died following a collision near Buxton.

The incident occurred on the B5053 Buxton Road between Buxton and Longnor just before 8.30am on Thursday 14 November when a Land Rover Discovery was in collision with a bridge.

The driver of the Land Rover, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family are aware and our thoughts are with them at this time.
