Officers investigating the theft of surveying equipment from the A52 at Wyvern Way, Derby have issued an image of a man they wish to speak with in connection with the incident.
Since the incident happened officers have been following a number of lines of enquiry as part of their investigation, and are now seeking help from the public
It was reported that a man driving a silver or gold Toyota Avensis pulled up alongside roadworks on the westbound side of the A52 between Raynesway and Pentagon Island. He then stole a surveying station, which was a Leica make, yellow in colour, and model number TS16.
The incident happened at around 10.20am on Saturday, 6 July.
