A pair of brothers have been charged with a number of drug offences following an investigation into an alleged county lines drug operation.
The arrests came after a black Seat Leon was stopped at around 9.30am in Acton Road on Thursday 20 August.
Following a search of the vehicle the driver, Kyrone Moore, was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.
Officers then carried out a search of a property in Acton Road where a quantity of what is believed to be class A and B drugs. At the address Joelle Moore was arrested and taken into police custody.
After interview the pair were charged with the following:
Kyrone Moore, 27, of Bendigo Lane, Nottingham: Conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug (heroin), conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug (crack cocaine) and one count of driving a motor vehicle dangerously.
Joelle Moore, 29, of Acton Road, Long Eaton: Possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
The pair were remanded in police custody, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 22 August where they were remanded to prison. They are due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 21 September.
