Officers investigating the assault of a 12-year-old boy are appealing for information.
The incident took place at around 2.50pm on Friday, 17 July, in Raynesway, Derby, and involved a 12-year-old boy being assaulted by three other boys. The victim suffered cuts and bruises during the incident.
The three boys who took part in the assault are described as:
Suspect 1: White, 5ft, around 10 years old, was wearing a black t-shirt and had short brown hair.
Suspect 2: White, 5ft 5ins tall, around 15 years old. He was wearing a black t-shirt with gold writing in middle of the chest and had short brown hair.
Suspect 3: White, 5ft 5ins tall, around 15 years old. He was wearing a white t-shirt around his neck, had short blonde hair and spoke with an Irish accent.
Two men and woman are understood to have witnessed the incident and intervened.
Officers are keen to hear from the three people who intervened – as well as any drivers who were on Raynesway at around 2.50pm and may have captured footage of the three boys described above.
