Officers investigating an arson at a Derby house are appealing for the public’s help.
The incident, which took place at around 3.45am on Saturday 27 June, took place in Shakespeare Street, Sinfin, and saw a campervan set alight on the front garden of the house.
The fire caused significant damage to the vehicle and the front of the property, however, the occupants of the house were able to escape unharmed.
Since the incident a number of lines of enquiry and are now asking the public for information.
Of interest to officers is anyone who was in Shakespeare Street or Sinfin Lane between the hours of 3.30am and 4am – in particular anyone who may have dashcam footage from the junction of the two roads close to the One Stop store during the above time.
