Officers investigating the sexual assault of a woman in her 20s are appealing for information.
The victim was approached by a man in Main Street, Kings Newton, at around 12.30pm on Thursday 8 April.
After a brief conversation the man, who was around 5ft 6ins tall, touched the woman’s bottom and ran off.
The man is described as being around 19 years of age, black, with short afro hair and wearing a puffer jacket.
It is believed that the incident is an isolated occurrence and officers want to hear from anyone who may have been in the area the time and saw a man matching that description – or who may know the identity of the man involved.
