Main article content
Officers are continuing to investigate what may have happened to a man who sadly died on a street in Alvaston, although the death is not thought to be suspicious.
Just before 5 am on Sunday 18 April, the ambulance service called us to Harvey Road in Alvaston as a man had been found collapsed.
He was discovered by a concerned passer-by, who stopped to help him, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
As part of their enquiries, officers are trying to piece together the 29-year-old’s movements before and leading up to his death.
We would like to hear from anyone who may have been in or around the park, Aldi, Esso or that area of Harvey Road between 1 am and 4.45 am on Sunday 18 April.
