The incident happened on 28 December in Hall Dyke, sometime between 5pm and 7pm when the owner was out.
A quantity of sentimental jewellery and a safe were stolen during the burglary, and it is understood that the burglar/s broke in by forcing open a rear window to the property.
We’re keen to hear from anyone in the area who heard or noticed anything suspicious around this time. Do you live nearby and have private CCTV installed which may have captured the incident?
