Motorcyclist injured following collision in Derby

We’re appealing for witnesses to an alleged collision where a motorcyclist suffered a broken shoulder and ribs in Derby.
It happened between around 10.30pm and 10.45pm on Monday 14 June at the junction of Bembridge Drive and Brading Close in Alvaston.
A man in his 20s who was riding the motorbike was allegedly forced to swerve out of the path of a car. It is thought he may have hit a kerb and fallen from the bike and suffered a broken shoulder and broken ribs.
The driver of the vehicle, believed to be a small silver or grey car, did not stop at the scene.
Enquiries are continuing and officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or with information, to come forward.
