Main article content
A man has sadly died following an incident on the A38 this morning.
We were called just after 4.40am today, Friday 18 June, to reports of a man was thought to have taken ill at the wheel.
The vehicle he was travelling in was also in a minor collision with the central reservation during the incident, which was between Little Eaton and Coxbench.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
The A38 was closed in both directions while emergency services attended the scene, and the road re-opened around 8.30am.
Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this time.
