A teenager has been arrested in connection with the alleged assault of an 18-year-old boy in a Derby street.
The force was called to a report that a teenager had been assaulted in Wood Road, Chaddesden, close to the One Stop shop, at around 8.30pm on Saturday (26 June).
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Yesterday (Sunday 27 June) a 16-year-old boy from Derby was arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery.
The mobile police station remains in place in Wood Road and there will be an increased police presence in the area in the coming days – along with increased patrols.
Officers remain keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and may be able to help with the investigation. Of particular interest are any homeowners with CCTV or car drivers with dashcam footage that may have captured the incident.
