Detectives continue to investigate assault in Normanton

Detectives continue to investigate a serious assault in Normanton and are urging witnesses to come forward.
Shortly after 7pm on Thursday 25 March, officers were called to Lower Dale Road, near to the junction of Northumberland Street, where a man had been badly assaulted.
We want to hear from anyone who was in Lower Dale Road between 6.50pm and 7.10pm that night. Even if you don’t believe you have seen anything of note, you may still have information which could help our investigation.
People driving in the area at the time who have dashcam footage are also urged to get in touch.
